5. Website analytics: Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, to understand how visitors interact with our website and to improve its content, performance, and user experience.

Google Tag Manager is loaded when you visit our website so that your cookie choices can be applied, and it activates Google Analytics only after you have given your consent. Google Tag Manager does not set cookies itself, but when it loads, your browser connects to Google’s servers and transmits technical information such as your IP address.

Legal basis for Google Tag Manager: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in managing the tools on our website and applying your consent choices, together with Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), together with Section 25(1) TDDDG for storing or accessing information on your device.

You may decline analytics cookies without affecting your ability to use our website. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time via the “Cookie Preferences” link in the footer of our website.

User-level analytics data (data linked to cookies or other online identifiers) is retained for 14 months and event-level data for 2 months, after which it is automatically deleted. The 14-month period restarts each time you visit our website again.

Google may process data outside the European Economic Area (see Section 8).

6. Meeting scheduling: Calendly

Our website includes an embedded scheduling calendar provided by Calendly, LLC, 115 E Main St, Suite A1B, Buford, GA 30518, USA. The calendar allows visitors to book a meeting with our team directly through our website.

The Calendly calendar is embedded directly on our homepage and loads automatically when you visit it. When it loads, your browser connects to Calendly’s servers, which transmits technical information such as your IP address to Calendly.

When the calendar loads or you schedule a meeting, Calendly may process:

  • Your name

  • Your email address

  • Your company or professional information, if provided

  • Your selected meeting date and time

  • Information you voluntarily provide during booking

  • Technical information, such as your IP address, browser details, and device information

We use booking information to organize meetings, respond to business inquiries, and communicate with prospective clients and business partners. Meetings are held via Google Meet, which is part of Google Workspace (see Section 4).

Legal basis:

  • Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in offering visitors a fast and convenient way to book a meeting directly on our website. You can object to this processing at any time (see Section 11).

We use the following categories:

Essential technologies. Technologies necessary to deliver the website, maintain security, or remember your privacy preferences. These are used without consent under Section 25(2) TDDDG.

Analytics technologies. Google Analytics cookies used to measure website traffic and visitor interactions. Used only with your consent.

Scheduling technologies. Technologies used by the Calendly calendar embedded on our homepage to provide meeting scheduling, used under Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG where strictly necessary for this function.

Advertising technologies. We do not currently use advertising cookies; this category is shown in our cookie banner for future use and stays off unless you enable it.

You can accept, reject, or adjust non-essential technologies at any time via the “Cookie Preferences” link in the footer of our website. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

8. International data transfers

Some of our service providers (Google, Calendly, and subprocessors used by Framer) may process personal data in countries outside the European Economic Area, in particular the United States.

For transfers to the United States, we rely primarily on the European Commission’s adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Article 45 GDPR), where the recipient is certified under it. Google LLC and Calendly, LLC are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Where no adequacy decision applies, transfers are based on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (Article 46(2)(c) GDPR), which are included in our providers’ data processing agreements. You can request a copy of the relevant safeguards by contacting us.

9. Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy:

  • Website technical data: According to Framer’s hosting and security retention settings.

  • Analytics data: 14 months for user-level data and 2 months for event-level data (see Section 5).

  • Email correspondence: For as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and maintain the related business relationship.

  • Meeting information: For as long as necessary to organize the meeting, handle follow-up communications, and maintain relevant business records.

  • Records subject to legal obligations: For the retention periods required under German commercial and tax law, in particular the German Commercial Code (HGB) and the German Fiscal Code (AO).

When personal data is no longer required and no legal basis justifies further storage, it is deleted or anonymized.
